In October / November 1997 we spent 3 weeks in Australia for Bill & Kim's wedding. Bill is my nephew and Emily and Charlotte's cousin.
For the third week we flew from Brisbane to Cairns to stay at the Cairns Colonial Club. This has 3 lovely swimming pools with bars to sit at:
While we were in Cairns we travelled on the Cairns - Kuranda railway and visited a tropical rain forest. There we held Koalas and fed Wallabies:
We also took a Quicksilver tour to the outer reef and swam off the Great Barrier Reef:
All in all the holiday of a lifetime!
