Katie and I spent a weekend in Barcelona from 26-30 January 2002. We stayed at the Hotel Intercontinental and visited loads of places, including the Cathedral, the Sagrada Familia (the Gaudi Cathedral), the Parc Guell and the Castell de Montjuic. It was very warm and we were able to walk around without coats on most of the time. We especially enjoyed the excellent and easy to use public transport system and sitting in the Tapas bar by the harbour.
