In June 2001 we visited Hampshire and then the Isle of Wight.
We went to Hampshire primarily to visit Jane Austen's house in Chawton near Alton. It was closed so we stayed overnight in Winchester and visited again the next day.
A couple of weeks later we visited the Isle of Wight.
